Learn networking by doing.
We believe some people learn best by doing.
We built SwitchLab to save learners from hours of setup, installs, and boring theory.
But their words matter more than ours.
I am a Cisco beginner, but I have been trying this site out for a few days and it has been great.
Switching is starting to make a lot more sense. 👀 I just finished the Learning Switching chapter on SwitchLab.dev...
I tried it out. And I love it.
This is amazing! Just got my CCNA about 2 months ago, this will be so useful to keep up skills.
Great job. Being able to do CCNA labs in you browser without down loading anything to you computer and being able to complete labs then automatically check you work. This is great. Thanks
I've recently been using SwitchLab, a browser based networking lab that makes it easy to get hands on experience without having to build or maintain a physical home lab. It's a convenient way to practice networking concepts and experiment with different configurations directly from your browser. If you're preparing for the CCNA certification or simply looking to strengthen your networking skills, I'd recommend giving it a try. There's no substitute for hands on practice when it comes to learning networking.
I saw another of your posts last night and gave a few of the labs a try. I have basic exposure to Cisco but I really enjoyed it. I felt it was easy to use and the instructions were clear. I made an account to track progress and plan on continuing to use it.
Already love that there are future labs planned for Aruba and Juniper. The team I am on is afraid to touch Aruba switches even though the syntax is very similar. It is not rocket science.
For anyone studying for the CCNA, I recently started working through the labs from SwitchLab.dev, and I highly recommend checking them out. A friend and colleague brought them to my attention, and I’m grateful for the encouragement he has given me throughout my CCNA journey.
This is really neat and fun
This is amazing. I was wanting to do boson labs, but free labs you cannot beat. I see you have a lot of labs! I am going to make an account and work on those.
Been playing around with "switchlab.dev" as this is a great way to get hands on skills for learning the CLI for switches!
This is great, am loving it.

Thanks Bro, just gave it a try now seems pretty great so far. Done like 11 lessons so far, am enjoying so far. Thanks
I share this site that can be really useful for those who want to progress in networking. It's a lab accessible directly from the browser, without the need to set up a whole infrastructure at the beginning and which for the moment is free. To revise the basics, train on concrete scenarios or prepare topics such as switching / CCNA, I find it a good resource.
This is neat. Just made an account to track progress. Might actually get me to start studying during down time.
Being on several Discord servers that are networking related, a link to SwitchLab.dev was posted asking if anybody had tried their site yet. Intrigued, I hopped on over to the site and checked it out. Chock full of CCNA training and almost exclusively lab-based work, you'll get plenty of repetition of the Cisco CLI commands that are needed to pass the CCNA.
This is awesome! I'm not a fan of Bosons lab interface, and this is exactly how I feel it should be. I'm working toward my CCNP right now so I'm excited to play around with those labs when they come out! In the meantime I plan on knocking out everything you guys have and providing feedback! I'm also excited to see the labs with the other OS options. That's awesome!
I think this is great!
Network Engineer with an expired CCNA chiming in. I am on Lesson 13, but this is really nice. I enjoy the repetition. This would have definitely helped me when I was going through Cisco curriculum.
Working through the lab helped reinforce my understanding of VLANs, access ports, trunk ports, and Spanning Tree Protocol (STP).
Keep up the great work! Hope you complete the rest.
Looks good. Thanks for sharing a great resource.
The hands-on practice has been especially helpful in reinforcing what I’m learning and getting more comfortable with networking concepts and the CLI.
I was literally looking for something exactly like this today because I am at work and this was the top post on the subreddit. I have gone through 6 labs and it works really well so I will keep going.
Took a whirl at it, i like it so far. These are the kinds of things i wish were done more for learning/training. I know that reading the books matter, but more interactive definitely is a plus for some learners, such as myself.
This is a game changer for education!! Thank you
